Progressive Environmental Industries, Inc. began as a simple gardening business by our father and grandfather, Jose Gonzalez in 1950s Santa Barbara.

Since then, we've immensely diversified our simple gardening business into four specialized landscape care businesses (Progressive Tree and Landscape, Agri-Chip, Cal-Real Pools, and Progressive Waste Management) plus two wholesale specimen nurseries (Glen Annie Nursery, and Ojai Valley Nursery).

 Being a multi-generational, locally owned & operated sustainable family business, we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt and learn within our ever-changing market.

Agri-Chip has been providing landscapers and homeowners with the highest-quality landscape amendments and toppings since 1991.

Our material is created entirely from recycled green waste and tree scraps from local gardeners, tree service companies, and construction lumber waste.
